Avocado Smoothie

The first time I tasted avocados was when one of my friends offered me a avocado smoothie. The smoothie was so thick, creamy and I absolutely loved it. How ever it was more than a 1 year later that I got the opportunity to make it at home. Avocado smoothie is another fruit like blueberry with lots of health benefits. It has monounsaturated fats that lower your bad cholesterol, high fiber content that makes you feel full and lots of vitamins that is good for you. 

Time required for preparing: 5 min 


Avocado - 1
Milk - around 1/3 cup 
1 teaspoon Honey 

Method of preparing:

Step 1: Cutting the avocado

Hold the avocado in your hand and then with your knife, cut through the center of avocado, making a circular motion. Avocado will be split into 2 parts. one half has the seed in it. Throw away the seed. Use a spoon to lift the portion left in the avocado halves.

Step 2: 

Put the avocado in the blender along with milk and honey. Blend it till they are of smooth consistency. Add more milk if you like the smoothie thin. Adjust honey for sweetness.
